Ms. Casey Ellison - Fourth Grade

Hi!  My name is Casey Ellison.  I am so excited about being a 4th grade teacher this year.  I have been a kindergarten teacher for 22 years.  It is time for a new adventure.

I am originally from South Carolina, where I graduated from Lander University in 1999.  I taught there for 3 years.  I moved to Alaska in 2002. Originally, I planned to stay there, but life had other plans.  I arrived in Idaho in 2003, and have loved my home ever since.  My oldest son, Richter, will be a junior in college in the fall. My youngest son, Sutter, will be a freshman in college this fall.  Looks like a lot of travel to Boise is in my future.  In my free time (haha), I enjoy reading, working in my garden, and camping.

It is my life's calling to be a teacher!  I love watching students as they learn something new!  I am looking forward to getting to know you and your child this year!

¡Hola! Me llamo Casey Ellison. Estoy muy emocionada de ser maestra de cuarto grado este año. He sido maestra de jardín de infantes durante 22 años. Es hora de una nueva aventura.

Soy originaria de Carolina del Sur, donde me gradué de la Universidad de Lander en 1999. Di clases allí durante tres años. Me mudé a Alaska en 2002. Originalmente, planeaba quedarme allí, pero la vida tenía otros planes. Llegué a Idaho en 2003 y desde entonces me encanta mi hogar. Mi hijo mayor, Richter, cursará el tercer año de universidad este otoño. Mi hijo menor, Sutter, comenzará la universidad este otoño. Parece que viajaré mucho a Boise en el futuro. En mi tiempo libre (jaja), disfruto leyendo, trabajando en mi jardín y acampando.

¡Ser maestra es mi vocación! ¡Me encanta ver a mis alumnos aprender algo nuevo! ¡Espero conocerlos a usted y a su hijo este año!
